Neemrana: is an ancient historical town in Alwar district of Rajasthan, India, situated at 122 km from Delhi and 150 km from Jaipur on the Delhi-Jaipur highway in Behror tehsil. It is situated in between Behror and Shahajahanpur. Neemrana is an industrial hub. This area is also known as Ahirwal region, It is the site of 16th century hill-fort occupied by Chauhans till 1947. The erstwhile ruling family is considered to be the direct lineage of Prithviraj Chauhan. Some distance from Neemrana is another fort, Kesroli in Alwar district, that is one of the oldest heritage sites. Historians trace it to the Matsya Janapada of the Mahabharata times. In Kesroli one gets to see the oldest remains of Buddhist Vihara at Viratnagar where the Pandavas spent the last year of their exile incognito; Pandupole, with the only reclining statue of Hanuman; the samadhi of the ruler saint Bhartrihari.

Deeg: is a town and a municipality in Bharatpur district in the state of Rajasthan. It is situated 32 km north of Bharatpur and 198 km north of New Delhi. In Hindu mythology, Deeg comes under the parikrama path of Krishna which was started from Goverdhan, just only 12 km. far from Deeg. Some people identify it as the ancient town of "Dirgha" or "Dirghapur" mentioned in Skanda Purana. Deeg was the first capital of the newly carved out Jat state of Bharatpur, when Badan Singh was proclaimed its ruler in 1722. In 1730, Maharaja Suraj Mal erected the strong fortress of Deeg. After Suraj Mal moved the capital to Bharatpur, Deeg became the second capital of the rulers of Bharatpur princely state. It is known for its number of forts, palaces, gardens and fountains.
